Worried ? Pip not heard from them

Hello, wonder if someone could shed some light for me .I had a letter in 2021 saying my pip was going to be extended until 6th August ,2024 , 17 days as I'm writing this . They extended it because of the c19 pandemic .It states You do not need to contact us we will write to you before the new end date to review your award ?

I mean I instantly went into mind going 10000mph , I moved homes but realised I had changed my address along with my ESA care group because I had a letter about Mays rise . Then Google said "you should contact pip because it's unlike DLA which I got years ago prior the pip , I'm not worried because my condition speaks for itself with my mental ill health , my poor mobility since I got sepsis and now acute cellulitis attacks with poor circulation, my award was after my last assessment put up to high rate care and low mobility, they asked me back then if I was interested in mototbilty scheme , I actually got marked one question incorrectly about the 20mtr rule because had I really wanted a motor to help me I missed it by 1 point ! I never questioned it .Since the letter I've lost both my mum and dad and my frame of mind is the worst it's ever been , I have some inheritance in two months I don't even want ! But I'm really afraid they'll not write and my award will stop !?! I've not according to this letter done anything they don't state need to do

Again,thank you for any info

I would have expected you to have received your forms about 8 months before your award was due to end. It's not clear whether you changed your address with PIP as well as ESA because they don't usually share information like that.

I'd advise you to ring PIP on Monday morning when they open at 9am.

Hi @The_Edge66, as Poppy says usually you get your review forms several months before your award is due to end. I would recommend calling PIP and checking what is happening and that your address details are correct.

Hi there @poppy123456 , thank you so much , I will call today , but what I've just realised poppy is in the October of 2022 I had a worsening problem and id never reported a change and I thought what the hell , I'm not fibbing nor anything my GP would not report different so I forgot with all post my dad passing away that year I'd done this review a good 16 months after that 2021 extension to 17 August which I've posted about. As I said regarding addresses I definitely had the pip increase letter here at my new address registered with ESA too,but I'm wondering if my review date is 2025 because the month after ( see I've checked my bank, my pip went up after getting the mobility component and having daily living go from middle to high rate so I'm so sorry as to not think before I posted , I just panicked, yet saying this I'm definitely going to ring for absolute peace of mind because like you say I'd have had this letter for review way before t now ... I'll repost as soon as , ps I write in the other week as I'll be affected soon because of means tested being affected through inheritance, would you mention this to pip ????

The letter will tell you when to expect your review from. Not all change of circumstances need to be reported. A worsening of condition doesn't automatically entitle you to more points for a higher award.
