Divorce lawyer for the disabled

I used to be a high income earner. I earned most of our family fortunes and now became deaf blind due to illness. I have to quit job and my wife asked for divorce. She took advantage of my blindness and moved away all the valuables at home.
I need a good lawyer to protect my pension and remaining assets. Unfortunately the high street ones are so bad that they charge me incredibly high amount for my blindness.
Wondering if anyone could recommend me a good lawyer who understand disability? I already tried RNIB ( charity for blind) but they don’t help on divorce lawyer.
I just need someone with integrity and will not fool blind people. Thank you!

Hello parklover,
The Law Society in the UK can recommend trusted lawyers if you contact them online.
If you and your wife share children you will need a family lawyer and possibly mediation to settle residency and apportion assets. Good luck.

Thanks for ur comment, I tried RNIB and guide dog charity but haven’t received anything useful. I just need a lawyer who handle general disability rather than specific ones

Have you looked at legal funding options at all? It may be difficult to find a lawyer that specialises in blindness, but are there funding options available to help pay for those high prices you were mentioning?

of course, I do not qualify for legal aid. I am happy to pay a fair price for a good
lawyer with some knowledge of disability.
I asked citizen advice who can only give general advice but not representation.
