VAT exemption requirements ?

I need scooter. Other various items. How do I get exempt VAT ? Is my PIP award letter stating enhanced care & enhanced mobility rates useful ? What evidence etc required ? Thanx.

It's really easy. The scooter shop will give you a very short form to fill in. Literally name/address/name of condition - that is all there is to it! No evidence needed at all.

Praps the supplier will say what's required I guess.

I've never had to provide proof. I've only ever bought VAT exempted stuff from RNIB. All I had to do was tick the box to say I'm registered as partially sighted / sight impaired.
