HI, any wise beings have knowledge of any updates regarding the Disability Consultation that ended 22nd July please? Is there a set date to announce new reform etc,
Can anyone Imagine Vouchers instead of cash Actually being introduced :-(
Please No "It hasn't Happened so Don't Worry" comments.

They have to go through all the feedback in the green paper. This will take months.

As others have said it could be up to eight months before we hear anything about the green paper, so I'd try not to panic too much, many disability charities are fighting in our corner already.

it took 2 months to get the report on responses from the month long wca consultation last year
This pip consultation ran for almost 3 times the length of the above at 12 weeks?
I imagine we won’t get the response for another 3-6 months earliest (presuming there were at least 3 times the number of responses as last time……….and the dwp/labour read responses fully)
My educated guess would be hearing back late October very earliest

As disappointing as that seems it's very Real & could save a lot of unnecessary immediate stress thanks so much I'll try to pop it into the cobweb section of my overthinking brain 😬 xxx
