Has anyone had any updates from the Government regarding pip? Any changes? Are they doing vouchers? Has anything improved?

Hi @LIVEDANDLEARNED.
There's been no news yet about what they plan to do with PIP. Hopefully we'll get some news soon though 😊

@Rachel_Scope I hope so. Will you be posting any updates on her if they do? X

Yes there will be information on here. Our members may post their own discussions about it and we will too. I know waiting is tough!

Ive read today that labour government is considering means testing PIP again as a way of trying to save money. I can't keep up with this. We've been here before not so long ago. No winter fuel payments for pensioners and now this !?

Where did you read that? Where ever it was it's just another one of those "speculation rumours" which are beginning to get very frustrating. Not sure what you mean either by means testing PIP "again" it's never been a means tested benefit.

As yet the new Labour Govt has not said a word about what, if anything, they may do about PIP. As poppy says, PIP is not, & never has been a means-tested benefit.

Where did you read this?
There is a lot of speculation regarding the proposed changes and a lot of scaremongering.
None of us will know for sure until Labour make an official statement.

I strongly advise against reading ANY news online.
The ones with "live" in their titles in particular are relentless and false, recycling untruths on a loop and rewording parts and updating the date.
