Getting a mobility car. Not sure how to sort out my old car.

I have an old car that I have only just changed to disabled class ( or whatever it's called) Not even got the papers or refund back yet. and decided to go for a mobility car for peace of mind.

Once I have got my new car what do I do? You can't have two cars with disabled class so do I have to try to sort it out before I get my new car what are the steps I need to take?

if you are talking about the tax of a vehicle i dont believe it stays with the car when you sell it it is down to the new keeper to tax it so just send it back on the day you sell it and get the refund it is then down to the new keeper

It is a bit more complex than that. I bought a car that was ex-mobility and it took ages to get the new V5 because of the change in class.

The tax part is quite easy as you can just SORN the old car, as long as you have somewhere off-road to keep it.

But the V5 (logbook) will need to be changed back to the original class. If you're keeping the car, you can do that by sending the paperwork to DVSA again. Or if you sell the car, it can be done immediately at a post-office, in order for the new owner to tax it at the standard rate.

My car now already has disabled class tax. There is nothing to send back no refund to get only the refund I'm waiting for, for the tax I paid before I got enhanced mobility.

I just want to know how I handle going from one car to the next, One is non-mobility the other will be a mobility car so I know that will be taxed
How do I un-tax ( for want of a better word) the car that I have now and do I have to change the class back or does the new owner have to do that?
