Hi, I applied in February 2024, had my assessment(s) in July and have not had a decision yet.
It can take a very long time.

Heya @jwalsh you could be looking at around 8-12 weeks for a decision to be made after you've had the telephone assessment. Depending on the area you live in. So just hold on tight!

Hi Albus, any particular reason why it’s a postcode lottery?

Hey @Steve1987 it's mainly down to the number of people waiting in each catchment area. So if some areas have more people applying, or waiting for reviews etc, the wait times can be longer.

Ah, of course. I didn’t know if the case managers were just centralised and handled claims from all over the place. Cheers @Albus_Scope
