Unnecessary(?) Inventions - What do you think?
Matty Benedetto, the king of unnecessary inventions has invented numerous contraptions to ‘help’ in our daily lives. Here are just a few…
The Sunshaders – Is the sun still too bright? Try these to maximise the sun-blocking potential.
Neckl-ICE – Beat the heat with this ice-cube necklace.
Sweat Gutters – Don’t let the sweat get in your eyes!
Puppy Thumbs – Tired of your dog not having thumbs? Here’s the solution!
So what do you think? Are they truly unnecessary? I know I could definitely use the Neckl-ICE in this heat 😂

Puppy thumbs have me laughing way too much. 😆
I'm a fan of the great invention from The Mighty Boosh; Pocket cup.

I love the sun blinds and ice cubes!
What I'm waiting for is rain wipers for spectacles - 50 years of wearing mine and nobody has invented them yet 🤓

@WhatThe your prayers appear to have been answered! This young man seems to have cracked it!

So I can make them myself once I've got all that equipment? 😂 thanks for the tip Albus!

Well you know what to put on your amazon wishlist now, lots of doohickeys and parts to build one. 😆

Makes me think of the Juicero. The juicer that you had to pay a subscription for, had to connect to the internet and the bag it "juiced" were mostly already just juice already.

I remember that @Jimm_Scope! I don't know how they dared to sell it

Unnecessary kitchen invention? The electric steamer? Bulky to store, pricey and lots to wash up!
Steaming veg is sooo simple on a hob or in a microwave oven.

@WhatThe I completely agree! My mum used to have one before she realised it was pointless and started using the hob.
I wonder what unnecessary inventions I have in my house 🤔

I love the bamboo steamers, we have a rice cooker that can steam as well. The rice cooker makes batch cooking rice a lot easier than using a pot.

I'll have to put my thinking cap on and try and think what that Australian comedy was. If you've not checked out What We Do In The Shadows, you definitely should, I think that'd be right up your street. And it'd be great to keep your mind off other things for a while. 😊
