Will the PIP assessors tell the doctors?

I've recently applied for PIP and have told them about my history with self harm. But my question is, if I need an assessment and I tell them how recent my SH is, are they likely to tell my doctor?

Yes they may contact your GP if there's any safeguarding concerns.
