Are pip rules changing now?

Hi everyone ☺️ I have heard all of the news regarding pip and the changes. I was wandering if people are still getting awarded pip for mental health. I am waiting on a tribunal date claimed near on a year ago. I have no faith in our government neither the rules they are putting into place . Are any new rules actually in place and is it affecting people already?

The old government proposed changes, and the new government are considering the consultation responses.
Nothing has gone any further, no announcements made etc.
I believe Liz Kendall is doing a commons statement October 7th regarding welfare.
Even then, that will be proposals only subject to the usual approval processes.

Hi @curiousspin. As @kimmy87 has said, Liz Kendall is speaking on the 7th October so we should know more then. It's all hearsay at the moment so I'd wait until then for some answers and try not to worry too much.

I am really expecting this labour government to be more heartless and wicked to disabled people than any other government in history. They clearly dispice the elderly and next the disabled. I can't sleep through fear of this labour right wing government.
