Hi. Thanks for the welcome.
I need so much help. A lot to deal with it's overwhelming.
A little worried about being identifiable but never mind.
I lost my parents who I cared for, I'm behind on paperwork. Probate etc.
Mum has a care bill I can't afford, everyone says it has to be paid. It's over £9k.
This was for care in her home, which was pretty poor which makes me even more reluctant to pay it.
I live in the family home and moved in with them in 2013. We all moved here together. So it's not like I've just acquired the property.
Of course they class this as mum's estate (she's left the house to me)
I just don't have that kind of money.
In a cruel twist of fate I've become ill myself since losing mum (dad passed 2020)
I'm now disabled and lost a lot of mobility. Things are very difficult and I've not only been really struggling physically but mentally.
No time to really grieve.
I do speak with a lady from cruse now which started recently.
I'm in denial. I can't accept she's gone.
They were my sole focus for approx 10 yrs. I feel lost.
I've Had little help from GPS etc.
No really answers why I've become so ill.
So many tests. I do have peripheral nerve damage in legs feet and hands. No support. I probably do need carers but won't because I don't want another care bill. I would have to contribute approx £58 a week which is a lot when on a low income and huge outgoings.
I've outstanding issues with the local council from mum. Which I can go into later. Adaptations and damage caused to property.
I can only type so much 🤣
So really I'm just looking for any help on offer.
Very much appreciated
Emma

Hi @VampEm
Welcome to the community.
It sounds as though you are going through a lot at the moment. It is very unfair when people are left with debts to pay after their loved ones pass away. If you have a low income and are on any benefits you might be able to apply for so that you can get some legal advice.
If you need other advice regarding care for yourself, have a look on the and also contact them.
I hope this information helps in some way.
Take care,
