Hi @deafblonde
Welcome to the community! Sorry to hear that you find it hard to make friends.
Do you have any hobbies/interests?0 -
Okay well let's start a conversation. What would you like to talk about.
Let's say it's raining outside what's the first thing you would do to occupy yourself x0 -
Well it takes me a long time to get myself motivated and get out of bed. As to what would be the first thing to do to occupy myself really depends on how i feel in myself0

Alex yes i have hobbies, but hobbies i do alone, being deaf i find it hard to communicate with other people who understand deaf people, I am not stupid, rude or ignorant i do not know any other deaf people, and i don`t sign.0

That sounds tough and frustrating. I wonder if there's anything that you could do that would help you communicate with others? Perhaps use your phone to write messages or a piece of paper?
The site Meetup has come up in a few recent conversations to find local groups. You can also message people to let them know you're coming - so you could potentially mention that you find it hard to communicate and I'm sure people would then make the effort to overcome that (rather than thinking that you're being rude).0 -
Hi @deafblonde
How are you? I came across this great article on Disability Horizons and it sounds like someone who is in a similar situation. Thought the advice given might be relevant.
