Fantastic news - such a shame that you (along with all of us here), have been put through such a trial tobeanle to receive money to which you are entitled.
I just hope that another DWP department don't look at it and accuse you of having too much money in the bank to receive other entitlements!

Congratulations! Very pleased to hear some 'good news' for a change. I hope that I'm successful when my Tribunal comes.

Also, before any negative comments towards me or jealousy,
I have a learning disability which has affected me a lot.
I also have ADHD
And my learning disability is on the same category as autism.
Hence why I received the enchaced daily living.
And as to those thinking I'm gonna **** the money I am not.
I am using it to get a new bed! Pay of my phone debt and get carpet for my bedroom and cloths etc. Many thanks.

Hi @ryleyyg We do not judge other members on the forum. Anyone who gets a fraction of what they deserve we celebrate. I am very happy for you. We all know how hard it is to have to fight for everything. Take care.

ryleyyg, why would you think anyone would be negative against you, we are all in the same boat so to speak with different medical issues/disabilities. No one is here to judge anyone’s conditions we are all struggling.
Take care 💓

Hi ryleyyg, sorry to hear you need to explain why you get PIP. Most people here understand how hard it is to get PIP. I hope after you have paid for all the practical stuff there is a little left over to treat yourself to something after all the stress you have been put through. You’ve done so well. So pleased for you

I fight on behalf of my learning disabled daughter every single day. LD individuals face so much prejudice in their every day lives. I think it is tragic that the Government dept that are supposed to support people, appear to be doing their damndest to destroy them. The assessors claim to be health care professionals!!! They need to look at the dictionary. They have no idea what "care" means.
Both my daughter and my own mental health has suffered significantly as a result of these stupid assessments, reassessments and tribunals.
They seem to think that my daughter's disabilities have disappeared after 37 years!!! I only wish they had. There are too few people in this world able to recognise disabled people's' worth.
It is great to see that someone has won their fight. It is your money ryleyyg, spend it as you wish.

I am pleased for you ..The money you receive you are entitled to. To be those not so successful please appeal and get the support of your doctor it really helps .

so glad you’ve got your back pay. That’s only money your owed but it’s taken a while to pay you. Everyone should ask for help to appeal. Local disability advice were excellent. My wife’s review is still being looked at.keep letters from consultants drs and ask for help to pull your appeal together.

That's great news and shows that the real people take it all the way.
Pip rejected me again so going to Tribunal again, and again they will see that my condition has worsened and is having an even greater impact on my mobility.
Iam convinced that Pip intentionally reject you in the hope you just let it go, and that breaks my heart that some deserving people cannot deal with the timescale of the Tribunal.
Again congratulations and well and truly deserved 👏
