Hi, my name is osrbsj! Looking for support after permanent brace put on leg
I am recently disabled through a sarcoma on my leg. I had surgery to remove it and in order to get rid of the cancer my muscle and nerves were also removed leaving me having to wear a brace on my leg for the rest of my life. I have been ‘grieving’ since and am currently going through wanting my leg back the way it used to be before all this happened. Anyway I wanted to join a community of people who know what it’s like so hello and here I am!!!

Hello @osrbsj Welcome to the Community. It can take some time to adjust to not being able to have the life you had before. If possible you should start making a plan for all the things you will be able to do going forward. I hope you enjoy being part of the forum. You might like to look in the Coffee Lounge for chats or the Games Den both under Categories. Take care.

Hi lovely
Its not easy having to deal with health issues and negative things going on in your life, and moving to a new area where you don't know anyone can be hard too especially as you are unable to get out and meet people.
I hope you will be happy in your new home.
Take care.
