capsaicin cream
Anybody tried this for osteoarthritis ?
I believe, 2 years ago - there was a shortage in the UK ?

Ah good old chilli pepper cream. I believe the company that made it went into administration a few years back, but it's available to buy via Amazon and other sites.

Thanks - I guess that TIGERBALM will do a similar thing - ie) Create a false sense of pain relief through burning you ?
ps I am currently trying to get my shoulders and spine - officially diagnosed with osteoarthritis !
I was "told" that was my problem almost 2 months ago - but nobody has even bothered to get in touch with me with the next step or even a proper diagnosis !!
Is it my GP's job to tell me - or the consultant ?

It basically blocks the pain signals that are transmitted from what I've seen? Though I'd much prefer having the chilis in a really hot curry.
It's very odd that no one had contacted you about your results, I'd definitely get in touch with your GP at the very least to discuss them.

Yes, it will create a false sense of pain relief. Skin damage may occur.

I have emailed the surgery

and have a phone consultation a week tomorrow
But I am unable to speak on the phone - so it's going to be an extremely one sided conversation !!
Why can't Drs surgerys use a "raise a flag" system - ie) Whenever a disabled person who needs face to face consultations requests one - it meets their requirements ?
I don't think that I will make it it that long - the pain is extreme and getting worse !!
