This is a question asked by many people. The reason is because people forget the UC is a monthly benefit and CA is weekly. There's 4.3 weeks in a month, not 4 weeks.
To work out the monthly payment you times the weekly amount by 52 and then divide by 12. £81.90 x 52 divided by 12 = £354.90.
Your carers allowance payment is not monthly, it's 4 weekly and there will be 1 month a year where you will receive 2 carers allowance payments but the deduction will remain the same.
Please make sure your UC include carers element (unless you're claiming the LCWRA element for yourself) both elements can't be paid to the same person.
