Carers element

Both the joint account people passed their assessment into LCWRA I know only one got the additional amount but the other one would not if it was joint account but if the other person was a carer would his carers element be taken out or will he still get the carers element even after passing the assessment into LCWRA

Carers element would be added to your UC and increase your maximum entitlement. Providing the person they are claiming for claims a qualifying disability benefit such as PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care.

so please explain if my wife gets put into LCWR and I’m carer which gives carers element at moment but I have assessment as well and if we both get put in to LCWRA GROUP I understand that only one of us get the extra component for being in the LCWRA group but Will, my careers element for looking after my wife be taken out if the outcome was that I was also in the LCwra group because there is some confusion in the Facebook group who have said that yes you do get your carers element taken away if both were put in the LCWRA group

That Facebook group is incorrect. The carers element wouldn't stop if both were found to have LCWRA because only one of you will receive the payment for that.
In this case your carers element continues and your wife will still receive the LCWRA element for herself.
Facebook groups for benefits are really awful and you should rely on the advice they give on there because very often it's incorrect.

thank you one more question to send additional information. I am very confused as when I rang the assessment department they have given me different email address and also different postal address as I spoke to 2 different people can you share some light on which address or how do you send additional support evidence?

Which assessment is this for? the work capability assessment? If so then the assessors have recently changed and who does the assessments will depend on which area you live. You can check that here.
The address will be different for everyone.
