Afraid I am going to lose benefits after having suffering from epilepsy and depression for 30 years and still ongoing

    why do you feel you are going to lose your benefit.If you have a medical condition.Let the assessors know word for word what you illness are and how the affect you,get a full factual report from your GP/Specialist to back all your claims,give them as much as you can,

    You get PIP points not for your conditions but how they affect your ability to carry out daily tasks and to walk.  If you take a long time to do things even using aids you get some points.  Complete as many categories as you can and don't tick the 'it varies' box under walking; tick a specific distance box.  Complete a 7-day diary to submit with your form.

    Read the PIP sections on the Disability Rights and CAB websites.

    I thought I was going to lose all my benefits but was awarded standard rate daily needs and mobility.  However, I am appealing for enhanced rate both.  But at least I go something even if I don't win appeal.
