When will i receive my first LCWRA?
hi everyone, hope you are doing well!
I declared a fit note to uc on 28th june 2024 and then again on 28th September 2024! Each fit note lasting 2 months! I get paid by uc on 26th every month! On the 15th October i was found to have LCWRA! Could anyone please tell me the date i should receive my first payment please?
Thank you!

If you reported your health condition on the same date you provided your first fit note your waiting period will be as follows..
July/Aug, Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct… LCWRA starts from 20th Oct to 19th Nov and first payment will be 26th November. No LCWRA element is owed.
If you or a partner were receiving earnings since you provided your first fit note and you didn't previously have the work allowance you will be owed some money from that.

thank you for letting me know! I thought it would be this month as this now 4th month from when i started giving sick notes! Would there be any back payment? As it would be 5 months in total since i declared a fit note?

The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods starting from when you provided your first fit note. It's then paid from the 4th month, with first payment being the end of that month because UC is paid 1 month in arrears.
If you reported your health condition on 28th June the same date you provided your first fit note then no, there's no money owed. This is because you provided that fit note in the middle of your June/July assessment period, which doesn't count as a full month.
No money is owed.
