Now that I have the diagnosis I feel like I have finally got the answers I have been trying to look for when I think back to the past when I was young it now makes sense.

Very similar to how I felt when I was diagnosed at 29.

What sticks with me is, part way through the diagnosis, a nurse asked me "what do you hope to gain from all this?". I wasn't sure if it was meant to be dismissive, but it felt that way, sort of wish I could see her again and tell her how much my life has improved since.

that’s the thing with some of the nurses and doctors with me before the diagnosis when I used to go and and talk about anxiety and depression and medication they kind of rushed through and a little dismissive. I know not all nurses and doctors are like this a lot of them are great.
