I work in a ld home and keep getting attacked by a new user

    Have you told your employer, and what measures have they taken to protect you?

    Are there triggers which set the new user off that you have noticed?

    I was asulted yesterday with thunmp to top of my head the employers not that bothered to fact that i now have two incident reports with the police
    Im going to have to leave my job because of him

    The employer ate too bothered about the tasty care package he has
    They are willing to loose good staff than serve him notice

    When you say they 'aren't that bothered' - what did they say?

    Your organisation has an obligation to provide you with safe work environments, systems and procedures.  If you don't feel you are getting support, is there anyone else within the organisation you can speak to?

    @terrina it is not about how bothered your employer is. If there has been an assault then there should have, at minimum, a risk assessment done on the individual and steps put in place to reduce these risks, these should then be effectively communicated to staff who deal with the individual. This is not even an optional, it is required under health and safety.

    Has each incident been recorded by the employer? There should be an incident log.
