Did I lose SDA when I moved to ESA?

I've been disabled all my life. I was born in 1977.

Before ESA I got Severe Disablement Allowance.

From what I've read I should have retained SDA alongside ESA. But this didn't happen.

Is that normal that SDA stopped?

    As far as I'm aware SDA was replaced by ESA so you don't get both together.

    There is a Severe Disability Premium (SDP) that can be claimed with ESA if that's what you've read? You need to be living alone and in receipt of the daily living part of PIP or DLA to be eligible for that.
