Isabelle Oakshot..always condemning the vunerable..Today on Talk TV she's actually said " disabled and those claiming disability ..are parasites " ..She's never very sympathetic about anything

There it is again! That cow is going along with the misconception about Motability cars being free, when they are paid for out of PIP.
I WILL BE COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS!! [uncivil language removed by moderator]
DISABLED PEOPLE ARE STILL NOT BEING TREATED WITH ANY RESPECT AND ARE STILL BEING SEEN [uncivil language removed by moderator] WHAT WE GO THROUGH ON A DAILY BASIS!!!!

I've just been looking for the clip, but I've been unable to find anything from her. But I did find something with another person saying some less than pleasant things about young people with mental health issues. I now remember why I avoid certain "news" channels. 😆

@Ironside1990 please mind your language.

It's this video here @Albus_Scope
Timestamp 5:26 to 6:40
Sorry for my language. I just watched the video that the OP was on about, heard what she was on about and i saw red.

It's ok @Ironside1990 I can totally understand, I'd be doing a couple of swears too after hearing that. What a nasty comment!

I've lodged my complaint using Nightcity's link (thanks). We are a protected group supposedly and calling us 'parasites' is hate speech. Racism and sexism and homophobia are always called out (rightly so) but this type of discrimination seems to be condoned. I'm fuming.

It always seems like disabled people are fair game for abuse @judie whereas abuse against other minority groups are not tolerated whatsoever!
I'll be emailing my MP in due course and i will ask why it is seen as acceptable to abuse disabled people and demand change so that anyone who uses disablist slurs on right wing channels will be punished severely!
This goes for people in real life as well as the MSM.

I've never heard of her, thank goodness, but I would like to meet her! 😈

She's married to Richard Tice of the Reform party

Thank you for bringing this to our attention @BrainfartsHere.
We've just posted Scope's official response to Isabel Oakeshott's comments on the discussion: "...and basically these people are frankly parasites"

I've emailed ofcom it's about time that awful channel got closed down

I've sent my MP an email. Hoping to hear back soon.

Thanks, @judie, never heard of him either, but I'm grateful for that, have heard of Reform though, of course. I don't actually watch or listen to any news, it's always depressing, so I pick up on anything on here or on another forum I look in on, plus the local rag & just that is enough for me.

I've no idea who she is either. Thankfully. Because I'm disgusted at the rhetoric and gutter language used to describe folk who have no choice in this world but to navigate a horrific benefit system and fight to get there, through no fault of our own. Who would chose to chase benefits if they didn't have to.. I'd rather be fit in body and mind and work my block off than have any part of a system who thinks I'm scum. We are worthy human beings in our own right with family who love us. We aren't non entities. I detest how we are treated.

I’m absolutely disgusted. I have felt nothing but shame since having to rely on disability benefits. If I could work, then I would, like all of us. To be called a parasite is almost more than I can stand. It’s so degrading and humiliating. I’m genuinely at a loss, we are being vilified for circumstances beyond our control. So much for equality and dignity.

Oh it's her again.. she's not the nicest person on the plant is she, she appears to be clueless when it comes to disabled people, anyone would think we ask to have disabilities. She's in a relationship with Richard Tice from the Reform party (or was not sure if she still is) who is another stuck up so and so.
