The dreaded review cometh

They sent me the notification yesterday, I didn't want Halloween to be actually terrifying. Their sense of irony is unparalleled, it seems. LCWRA, my source of stability. I can pray it goes well, pray the facts are on my side, at least they were under 2 weeks from getting the evidence to booking this telephone appointment, but there's still 5 days for this Sword of Damocles to hang over my head, awaiting execution. I'm not sure if it's advice I'm looking for or a shoulder to cry on.

    Did they ask for id and bank statements?

    Yes, they did. I provided both.

    I thought so, it's a check to make sure your payments are correct from a financial perspective.

    They'll ask you a series of questions about other potential sources of money, and questions about your banking transactions, though these may appear to make no sense.

    Lots of us on here have been through one of these checks, I had mine September 2023.

    My first one was brief - the woman spoke clearly and was very patient with me. Right on time.

    It had been booked the night before without text notification (I don't always check email) so I was annoyed and stressed but it was much easier than expected. I hope yours is too.
