Heya @raymor and welcome from me too!
As Chiarieds has said, ew have lots of mobility scooter users, so if you have any questions, just ask away and we'll all do our best to help. 😁0 -
First and foremost….no wheelies
But good for you getting the scooter, hopefully you will make good use of it and you get out and about.
I am sure it will take a wee bit of adjustment so just take things slowly until you begin to feel more confident….like anything, having horrible or bad experiences at the start can put you of doing or using something again so build up to things and enjoy

Charge it after every trip, even short ones. Keep a very watchful eye on young kiddies as they can often veer off in unexpected directions. If you can, carry emergency supplies. I carry an hanky, spare spectacles and shades, money, a woolly hat, handwarmers, a set of keys (in case I lose the keys I am carrying), a spare mobile, a bottle of water (or similar) and medication I may need when out and about. And don't get frustrated when you are asked a thousand times over if you have any points on your license! Or when people refer to your Ferrari! Or when a daft builder climbs aboard because he wants a lift! Other than that, drive slowly in busy places like supermarkets.

- Safety first!
- I recommend ski gloves or heated gloves if it’s cold and full-fingered cycling gloves if it’s warm. To avoid battery damage or fire, do not charge the battery immediately after a trip, wait until the battery temperature reaches room temperature.
