no idea where to start but here goes: awarded backdated esa underpayment award it’s over £5,000 due to official error so will take me over savings allowed what happens to esa and move to UC and also worried now about housing benefit as this is income should of received and not psid till now will all this be affected?

It is disregarded from capital usually for 12 months. With official errors and with it being over £5,000 it is disregarded for the life of the claim. I believe the same applies when you migrate to UC. It will not affect your housing benefit or council tax reduction.
