Morgan's weekend waffle

I've had quite the start to the weekend – it seems mine and my neighbours' bins had a visit from some mischievous foxes overnight! I spent the morning clearing rubbish up from all over the street 😣 I was feeling uncharacteristically neighbourly and picked it all up, even though some of it definitely wasn’t mine!

How about you all? What’s been your start to the weekend? Anyone else had a run-in with wildlife? Or maybe you’ve got exciting plans ahead?

A warm welcome also to all the new members joining us yesterday @Tinaharp, @sar80, @WoozyWoo, @motherofboys, @sophiewade, @discoveringmycity, @ValJR, @Sparky6, @852, @carmenc, @lostcause, @ZoeMP, @Bailey2019, @mummy21, @NinaMS84, @louise93, @vaji777_, @dream, @annieUK, @0903Spaceman, @donsleight, @Notsogoodnow, @rach34, @makkiyah, @sheryl1964, @Milkman, @Paula1968, @mariafist, @emiandrone, @MerlinDax, @CJ83 and @thomps

How lovely and kind of you Morgan. :-) I have wildlife in the form of a rescue kitty. He was abandoned and we adopted him. We've only had him for two weeks and he is like a little tornado. Thanks for the welcome both.

What a wonderful thing to adopt a rescue kitty @rach34. It sounds like he's full of personality already – a little fur-nado! 😄 I bet he’s keeping you entertained with all his antics? Do you have any pictures you'd be happy to share?

Good morning, everyone! No visiting foxes for me last night, so it's a more relaxed start to the day. I like to **** and change all of our bedding on a Sunday, so I've got the hum of the washing machine keeping me company. How is everyone else doing?

    We also had a few new members join us yesterday, so I'd like to say a big "hello and welcome" to @olivia009, @EdwardLit, @princessj, @jac65, @wurzelgirl7, @robbbucks, @SunflowerWombat, @ahiston, @Mohmmadn786, @Lemon3989, @Dlobb, @Pieeater, @Raycoss, @hughessel, @Greenman125dm, @dad0675, @SarahPenelopeLoves, @uglybug2, @Stevensonsrocket, @shazzle88, @balletshoes, @sherrelean1971, @arnie and @Miche_Marples

Definitely! It's one of my least favourite chores, but the fresh bedding at the end of the day makes it worthwhile.

    Morning @Nightcity 🙂

Yes I have a dog. I always wanted one after my Yorkie passed away 10 years ago. It never seemed the time was right. With long working hours, my partner's illness and most of all unsuitable living arrangements for responsible adoption of one. But since we moved at the beginning of this year and now we have a little garden and it's only us, when the opportunity to adopt a rescued puppy girl in May, I wasn't thinking for very long before taking her. She is called Red and is like my baby, especially as I never had become the real mum due to few different life circumstances.

I came face to face with a visiting heron yesterday. I didn't notice it was there until I was about 8 feet away from it. That woke me up very quickly!
