hi i had my assment on tuesday said they would write the report by end of day then i gather it gets sent of.they told me it could be 6/8weeks is it that long?
for them to make a decision as i no people in under 4 weeks to had theses back aso
could anybody clarify if velcro is a aid or is it just something put on your chlothers / shoes as i got cp i'm parlized down my left side and got no use of my left had what so ever and i use velcro on my shoes but if not possible my carer does my shoes upon all but i just wondering if they do class velcro as a aid

In the DWP's guidance notes that comes with the PIP application form they list velcro as a dressing aid. -

I keep getting told to keep a diary,what do I put in it ?my medication is self explanatory,do I put what time I get up ,who helped me dress ,what I ate,who helped me shower ,and how I feel everyday,what AIDS I use ? HELP

Disability Rights website PIP guide has a draft diary that you can adapt. Keep a diary for at least seven consecutive days.

I suggest you phone the DWP and ask. Could be they've only paid part of a month's DLA because your PIP starts tomorrow but check they haven't made a mistake.
