    Hi there - I hope you can advise me as I'm so worried. I am currently on ESA in the LCWRA category. I know that some time in the near future I will be asked to move onto UC. My question is this- will I have to start attending job search interviews or similar when I move to UC? I was under the impression that as I am on ESA in the LCWRA category,that I wouldn't,but I am increasingly reading stories that people are having to attend these interviews every week, despite being deemed unfit for work and being placed in the LCWRA on ESA. I have not worked for many years due to disabilities and several health issues, and my health is getting progressively worse. I am so worried that I am going to be forced to look for work.

      dont think you do just tell them on phone no laptop or internet heard dont need to iam in same boat so scared pal eveytime postman comes

      Your UC claim will have LCWRA added due to moving from the Support Group for ESA.

      It does take ESA a few weeks to send your details to UC.

      Hey @Spangles1963 sorry to hear this is all causing you so much distress. But I'd suggest taking the things you read online about it all with a large pinch of salt. You only read about the bad experiences, never the good ones. Many find the transition over to UC easy and straightforward. If you're already found LCWRA, that will be on your records. 😊

      Thanks to all who have responded! I am feeling rather more reassured now. There is a particular website online (which I won't name) that seems to dish up stories of the kind I am referring to on a regular basis,so much so that I had started to assume that EVERYONE on ESA with LCWRA was going to be out on Jobseekers Allowance and forced to look for work, regardless of their disability/health problem!
