Posted PIP Review Forms Advice
Hello,
The DWP need to receive my PIP review forms by the 22nd November. I posted the forms on the 12th November. I still haven’t had a text to say they’ve received the forms.
If I don’t get a text by Wednesday 20th, do I call them and say I’ve posted the forms? Not sure what to say to them..
Thanks

Hi @MrJackT. It can take time for forms to get through but I wouldn't worry about calling them. If you sent it on the 12th then it's probably already at the DWP, it's just that it hasn't been processed yet. Things don't move quickly at the DWP 😂
Did you get proof of postage just in case?

Hello
No, because it said I didn’t need to buy a stamp, and that I could just post the forms, so I just posted the forms..

This happened to me and I telephone dwp to explain who gave me an extension on returning the forms. I'd ring them if still awaiting the text.

Hello,
I rang the DWP to ask for more time filling out the review forms because they still haven’t received the forms.
The forms now need to be returned to the DWP by the 29th November.
As I’ve already mentioned, I posted the forms on the 12th November, and I still haven’t received a message from the DWP to say they’ve received the forms.
Not sure what to do?

They don't always send a message to confirm receipt of the forms. As you don't have any way to track the envelope, the only option you have is to call them again to check whether they've received it yet. As they know you've posted it, they should be a bit more lenient on the delivery time.

When returning anything to DWP you should always get proof of posting which is free from any post office. This is the only proof you need that the form was returned.
Did you also keep a copy of everything you sent? If you did and there is issues with them receiving the form you'll have a copy there to send them.

I know it was a free envelope, but I paid for mine to be tracked the whole way, it cost me about £9 but I honestly was worried about it not getting there. If it was me I’d just call and ask if they’ve received it because otherwise you’ll be worrying everyday and it will make you ill xx

Hello,
Unfortunately I was stressed filling out the forms and I forgot to get proof of postage. However, I do have copies of everything I sent as I did it all on my laptop and printed it off. The only thing I don’t have is the actual “PIP Review Form” that the DWP send.
Still no text from the DWP, so not sure what to do?

That's excellent that you have copies of everything you sent. If you haven't received confirmation that the forms have been received by 28th then give them another ring to ask. Not everyone receives a text when they receive them.
If they still tell you they haven't received them you can send copies of what you have.
