Meeting people and socialising

Hi I'm new here and just wondered do anyone else feels isolated due to mobility problems and have any ideas of how to help with this. Especially in the Norwich area. There's lots of groups and help around for the elderly who are lonely but I haven't seen anything for disabled people who can't get out much

    I expect a large proportion of the disabled feel isolated. Your experience is quite common sadly. There is nothing near me either.

    You could try Meetup and if nothing currently exists you could try forming one.

    It seems that even council services focus on the elderly with little to no support for the disabled. Also many groups or agencies focus on a single specific condition and are therefore somewhat self-defeating.
