UC and ESA
hi I am new to benefits around Christmas time I am due ESA on the 24/12 which is Xmas eve and then due UC on the 27/12 will the payments be paid in on them days or on different dates just so I know to sort out my DD on my accounts

ESA and UC get paid separately on their respective dates. Also the amount will make up the same as you were on before, i.e. the ESA amount will be deducted from the UC amount you will get.

Neither of those days are bank holidays, so you'll receive both payments on those days.

However, I'd be cautious, since e.g. BACS accounts processing needs to account for non-processing days, so it could be either quite late on the 27th, or in fact on the 24th:
