Extra Pension Credit if on PIP

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me please, I was awarded PIP for 10 years about 2 years ago. I get the full mobility but only the standard daily living allowance (I missed it by 1 point) next year when I turn 66 I'm due to go from Universal Credit to Pension Credit. I've checked what my state pension will be so I know I'll get pension credit. I've read that if you get the standard daily living part of PIP and claim Pension credit you can also get an additional amount of £81.50 per week. Is this correct ? Thank you

You can put in a different date of birth, as if you were already SPA with the other information being correct 😊
It's a tool to use as a guide, rather than submit an application.

Thanks, I've just tried that, It does give me an estimated amount of Pension credit which is £145.69 a week (my state pension is forecast to only be £153.96 a week) so although it doesn't break it down. I think I've answered my own question… It appears my weekly total is going to be £81.50 more than £215 a week…. again thanks. although I had no idea I'd get this extra amount, lets hope the government don't suddenly stop it !!

You will be entitled to the SDP (known as SDA) with pension credit, if you live alone or treated as living alone. No one must be claiming either Carers allowance or carers element of UC for looking after you.
