Good morning @Catherine21 Please try not to worry. It will be Spring before we know anything more. Take care.

Good morning @Catherine21.
Lots of people are worried about the future and it can be hard not to worry, as no one knows what may or may not happen. You're not alone in feeling this way but it's important to try and take things one day at a time and remember that things often work out in ways we don't expect.
Remember to take care of yourself and focus on the things that are in your control.

thank you again Nightcity, can I ask how did you become this way? I’m under review for my ESA (legacy) and the anxiety is eating me up! Would love to become more like you.

thank you so much nightcity, that’s great advice, I am also fortunate to have a few people I can count on if so and so came to shove! But in the past, dealing with them has made me want to end it all and if it wasn’t for my sister helping me with appeals tribunals and everything they threw at me I wouldn’t be here honesty. I do think fighting for yourself is very important but the media rhetoric and the politicians scare mongering can get to you especially if you’ve had to fight for your rights before. Like you said, most of us are not lying most of us have genuine illnesses and desperately need the support so when we do fight back, we do tend to win. I think to help myself I’m going to make a new year resolution to stop reading the news!

Certain sources are fine. But I do find Scope very levelling if we get worried.
I avoid looking at fb and newspaper comments, it's not positive or productive.

hi Catherine, I absolutely agree with you. I really do think they have given us PTSD on top of everything else we have and thank you. I do have a great support system and I do believe without it I wouldn’t be here honestly. As for your PIP I just got done with my review. I sent mine back in September and in August they sent me a letter saying everything is staying the same however my health has deteriorated in the past three years so with the help of few great people here, especially poppy I submitted a mandatory reconsideration and it was successful and I was awarded enhanced for both. I think like night city has said You have to stand up for yourself sometimes and fight for yourself. But with PIP, they mostly keep your claim the same. Right now, I’m going through an ESA review, I’m still on the old one so I understand completely how you are feeling but I think we will both be okay! ☺️

Oh great on pip oh yes 2016 when I got report back they lied I went to town can't say what I said and I got so angry in pip form this time I said you don't follow the Equality Act I also wrote don't lie I'm telling you what's wrong with me I am telling you I said I can't take the lies sick of being scared I relized everything is to keep us fearful take day by day try to relax I love this saying I've had many troubles in my life most of them never happened pls excuse spelling x

that’s so beautiful! I’m going to use it! And yes I understand your frustration, they lie and just hope we’ll accept it, it’s exhausting!
