5th December which is when they celebrate St Nick in Holland is about right for me.
We have a tiny tree, so it's a case of getting the box out of the cupboard.
Usually put a few lights around the garden.
I don't really celebrate Christmas - more solstice kind of guy:)

I voted no, but something went wrong with the system! I am afraid I have the messiest and most horrid Xmas tree, but hey - I try. I hope you like my silly Xmas card!

Mine went up yesterday, it's the first Christmas in our home so I was excited to put them up. I have lights for the window too but waiting for delivery of some hooks so I can put them up, which will be today.

I took my 2 year old granddaughter shopping to look at Xmas lights and decorations last week and she chose a decoration for my tree.. a fairy, how cute! She's now happily hanging from my tree, sat on a branch. (the fairy, not my granddaughter) ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚

Alfie my cat has already taken his spot under the tree. I'm sure he thinks he's sat in the garden ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've put up some lights in the conservatory and I've got a garland on the mantelpiece in the living room.

Every time I open the Christmas cupboard the dog gets into it and refuses to move,so I'm struggling to get the rest of the decorations out.

The trees are in the shed(I think)and I don't have the energy to drag them into the house.

I was pleased to put up my door wreath on the 1st, that might be all I do this year as having a very hard time atm. Not feeling the Christmas spirit at all. I'm confident life will get better, but perhaps not in time for Christmas.
