You haven't posted any screenshots since the carers allowance letter. If you had then I would have commented on that.

The deductions for ESA is more than I would expect it to be because normally that should be £598.86/month. However, you did receive more ESA than you should have so that's probably why the deduction is more this time.

The deduction for carers allowance is correct. Don't forget you also have the ESA payments of £276.40/fortnight plus the carers allowance weekly at £81.90. Based on what you were receiving before you claimed UC then you're most definitely much better off now just as I advised you would be.

Are you still working? I don't see any earnings on there for you.

You're welcome. Does it say anything about your earnings on the statement? I can't see anything.

You have the work allowance which is £404/month so the deduction in your UC based on £457.60 would be £29.18/month. As UC is based on the earnings you receive this could increase or decrease depending on what earnings you receive.

Was it this months earnings they've asked for? Are you self employed or PAYE? if PAYE then your employer should report your earnings to HMRC and then UC check with those.

You need to ask your employer if they have reported your earnings to HMRC because there could be issues with your next payment.

If they didn’t report your earnings on time and it shows when UC next checks with HMRC they could see 2 lots of earnings. With you now reporting your earnings your next payment for UC could reduce to zero because they will think you’ve received 2 earnings in one assessment period.

Did you report your earnings on or before the last day of your assessment period? If so then it should have shown on your statement so it will need to be recalculated to take into consideration your earnings.
