PIP review complete
hey everyone, hope everyone is doing ok! I was looking for some advice on my pip review circumstances, my current award ran out in October and i submitted my review form previously to that. I have been expecting a telephone call assessment appointment, but this morning I have received this message :-
Your PIP review is complete. You should receive your decision letter in 2 weeks. Once you receive your letter, contact us if you have any questions. Do not call before you get the letter as we will not be able to tell you the decision. Please remember to contact us if your circumstances change.
i was surprised as i haven't even had another telephone assessment yet, is it a positive thing that it has been decided without need for a telephone appointment? Are they likely to have made changes to my award without speaking to me first? There are no changes or improvements to my condition, which i explained in my review pack.
Guess I'm looking for some reassurance and hoping this is positive outcome!!!!

You've had what's known as a paper based assessment. The assessor felt they had enough information without speaking to you.
It's neither positive or negative 🙂

I hope your payment comes before Christmas

Even thought the text advises you not to ring them, you can ring anytime to ask what the decision was and they will tell you.
