Good morning everyone. I feel like taking the tree down too @Sandy_123 .

When I was a child the tree didn't come down till after 6th January. The 3 wise Kings visited the manger to see baby Jesus but my youngest sisters birthday was 6th January so it all became of that 😆

    Morning @Marydoll5 I hope you've been doing great. 😊

We take the tree down on new years day usually, but I think with sis having time off work, she'll get bored and demolish the tree soon. 😅

    Morning everyone. 😊

I also had a cat needing attention at sill o'clock in the morning @Amberpearl so I can empathise there. 😆

Anyone up to anything exciting today? Or are you all still recovering from all the festivities?

    Morning everyone! 😊

Hope you all had lovely Christmases! I tend to take my decorations down after New Year's Day too. Always looks so bare afterwards but I don't like to have it hanging around too long.

    Enjoy your pub lunch @durhamjaide2001!

I've just discovered that Christmas is officially over on Jan 6th, so all decorations should be down on the 5th.

I hate how bare and miserable the house looks once the decorations have been put away @Rosie_Scope.

I've ordered an extra Christmas tree for next year,so it'll look even more bare and miserable come January.

It does always look a bit dreary afterwards!

A group of my friends organised a mini festival in early February one year as we'd all got so fed up of it being wintery and dark.

We called it Spring-back Festival. We popped up some colourful decorations and had a nice meal to try and bring some joy back into the Winter time before Spring properly showed up.

I wish we'd made in an annual thing but we only did it once unfortunately! I feel like we could all do with something like that to brighten up the long months after Christmas is over!
