Dr Who

Can someone please explain Dr Who to me ?
2024 Christmas episode was the hardest yet to understand
Why was a Dinosaur involved and what year was the hotel supposed to be ? 2024 or 4024 ?
So many questions and no answers
The dumpy girl, Joy was supposed to be a star ?
I was (and still am) TOTALLY confused - I have watched Dr Who for over 50 years and this was the worst yet……

When selection into the film industry began based not on professional criteria, but on other grounds, everything, as expected, deteriorated. Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, ... Netflix, Disney... Sad

I really enjoyed this years Xmas special, very silly indeed.
OK, so the time hotel is set out of time, so it had no actual date. The dinosaur was there as one of the rooms was set in prehistoric times. I won't post too much as I don't want to throw in any huge plot spoilers. 😉I'm enjoying the new Dr, though I've only seen two episodes with him in so far, but they were both good fun. 😊

Time Hotel is a rip-off of the Spanish TV series El Ministerio Del Tiempo, only in Disney style. I'm not even talking about the modern whistling kettle in 1953, … a mockery of classical physics when using a climbing rope... And I will especially note this

It's been awful for years.
What was The Message this time?
