Anxiety signing on journal
Does anyone else panic when they sign onto u.c journal?.I have awful anxiety signing on to the journal every day incase there is another message on there from them that I need to querie. When I first had tye journal I used to receive emails which alerted me to messages but then they stopped.

Simple answer yes! Migration has been one issue after the other, and like you, the notifications alerting of a message have stopped. We're now logging in constantly, worrying we've missed something. You're not alone in how it makes you feel.

Doesn't bother me,i always get a text message if there is something I need to read which is the only time I log in.

I wish I could be this relaxed

@Juthbert oh I thought it was just me.It really has me Ill.Without going through the drama of it all,it's been the worst experience.I was very secure and calm on my previous benefit for many years. The upheaval and stress and complications as well as less money has been an utter nightmare.Pushing me into trying to claim for pip ( which I know I meet criteria for but have been declined). So the past 4 months or so have been extremely hard and ongoing.I know I'm not alone and much of this is U.c

Yes our experience hasn't been great either and still ongoing. It doesn't help when I'm instructed to do one thing on my journal, and my partner is told the opposite on his. They aren't great at replying to messages asking for clarification and we don't know if we are coming or going. Less money too. Hopefully it gets better.

It seems generally people are down between £150-200 a month depending on their situation.I agree it's very hard and incredibly stressful

I only log in once a month, but I do still feel anxiety before doing it.
Also makes it more hassle that we can't stay logged in for more than a week even on our own device, and have to go and get a mobile phone to receive a text before being able to log in.

Try and check your spam folders, and add their email as favourite + star and mark it as 'never send to spam' and whitelist it.
On hopefully a little brighter note, because of your post coming in my inbox, I thought I'd check mine, and there was a note saying I will get £25 in the next few days, since the weather in my area was zero or less degrees Celsius for a whole week and because I am disabled. So that was quite nice of them and shows you can log on and also have positive messages like that! So thank you!4 -
How lovely x

You should apply for pip for anxiety and all this will stop ..have a family or friend at the phone interview it helps..you shouldn't be going through this stress you are not well enough to be going through this everyday.

@Topcat71 I recently did actually and it got declined which only made everything worse.I won't go into the whole long story but what I will say is that I personally found the U.C ( for me) worse than the pip situation even though I've been declined

Wow that's alot to lose who comes some people lose that amount I'm dreading it

@Catherine21 that was my personal circumstances it probably won't affect you at all so please don't worry

Jane, ask them to resume their email or text alerts to you. We're not mind-readers!
I've only ever had one sneaky evening journal message (no alert) which I just happened to read informing me of a UCR call the following morning..
They know when we sign in, how often we sign in and which pages we open. Don't indulge them.

Oh no I've always been worried x

I'm sure you will be ok.mine was a nightmare because I had extra bedrooms which I now pay more for,mix ups with u.c and new style esa, child tax credits over payments and council tax complications. So it's very doubtful you'll have this nightmare X
