Wish me luck
Ttomorrow I have my first cbt session. Not sure what to expect and then I have my pip assessment absolutely losing my mind over this as it's my 2nd application.
Wish me luck. I know I will be so drained after both of them I can feel it already but trying to stay positive

Hi troublethomas, let me wish you lots of luck 🤞
Both appointments tomorrow?? My hunch is the CBT will take your mind off the later health assessment in a useful way.
Drink plenty of water and eat extra protein tomorrow because your brain will need it.
🤞

Update my cbt was interesting. The lady for my assessment was lovely thorough but she said she wanted to make sure I had said and explained everything. Cried my eyes out about the murder of my son 6yrs ago and the effects. She said she can see alot has changed since my last assessment. Now to wait 6-8 weeks. She said if I did get thru which she doesn't see why I shouldn't that it will be backdated to november.
Fingers crossed.
Thank you all for your support.

@troublethomas really pleased to see that your assessment went ok. And what she's said sounds very promising!
I will keep everything crossed for the best possible outcome in 6-8 weeks, but hope you're feeling a little more at ease following the initial assessment. 😊

Just called up to get a copy of my assessment. The group is world of knowledge would never have thought about doing this for evidence. Thank you.
Actually managed to have a good night's sleep for the 1st time in about 4mths.
