Hi, does anyone know what happend with the ongoing court case involving Ellen Clifford? I'm sure I read or heard somewhere she was in court either yesterday or today regarding the benefits changes and if they were lawful, much appreciated.

Ellen did a great job fighting for us and our rights. The two barristers and lead solicitor representing her apparently did a very good job.
The judicial review findings are now ongoing, we have to just be patient until they announce the judgement. It's not clear how long it will take.
If the proceedings go in our favour, it will set a strong precedent for us to build on further legal action in the future if the government proceeds with any welfare reforms which may pose a risk to the safety/welbeing of any sick/disabled people in reciept of health related benefit(s).1 -
She's done it! Ellen Clifford has won the court case! I found this out on Frances Ryan's Twitter.

Good to see we're finally getting some good news after all the constant stress/worry.
Hopefully this victory will influence the government/DWP's future plans on welfare reform and will help set a precedent in the fight against any harsh reforms in the future.1 -
