Just spent just over a week/half helping a disabled lady with her UC50 form.

Hi!
I'm a Carer and ex CAB adviser ( long time ago! ). Just spent just over a week/half helping a disabled lady with her UC50 form. I have to say, I'd forgotten how draining and time consuming filling in these claim forms properly was! I was wondering what the recent stats were for recommendations/decision based on paper ( form/supporting evidence ) was? The lady I'm helping has several co-morbidities including very severe arthritis in all her upper/lower joints. I'm thinking definitely LCWRA but, will she still be asked to take part in an assessment? any/all advice welcome!

There's currently no stats for how many people have paper based assessments. All the stats for UC work capability assessments are here.
She should expect and assessment and most are by telephone. If there's enough of information to write the report without needing an assessment they will do that.
If you haven't already looked you can see the descriptors here for LCWRA.
