Thankyou, you too, January is such a gloomy month and it feels like it's dragging on

@Sandy_123 Ii know it feels like today is the first time in ages that it isn't grey and dull. It makes a big difference to my mood for the day, which is good as I have to plough through loads of washing, my eldest changed his sheets and he has loads of covers that takes 3 loads, I tried a weighted blanket but he didn't get on with it. I wouldn't mind but he then opens his windows wide and puts his fan on, lol it's something his done for years.

Hi everyone
@Amberpearl have you tried wearing an oodie or equivalent? They have a sale on now and you can get them half price. They are oversized hoodie lined with sherpa fleece and keep you toasty.
I read Martin Lewis moneysavingexpert and he said to heat the person not the room and these are great. I peel mine off after half an hour as I get too warm!
Feel better soon those of you unwell 😊

Afternoon everyone, feeling anxious as a guy from the council is here doing a gas safety check and I find it really difficult having people in my flat. Should be over with soon though.

@ShadowyBramble i am the same. In my case I rent private for the time being but I hate when people are in my flat doing stuff. I could choose not to be in the room but it is much worse as I get weird feelings about them checking in my drawers etc... so I stay. Even if it is private the council ask them to check on things like. Smoke alarm etc.. I would love if nobody at all get in my place. I hate it ..

Another awful day. I manage to do some stuff but now I am at home obviously cold. 11 degrees. Have my halogen heater on. Will leave it for a bit and them maybe I will be under the blanket only place where Ia warm. I heard someone about an electric blanket. But not sure.
