Mobility Scheme
I am wanting to join the mobility scheme.
I will be the primary driver. So will have a second person added.
My planned nominated driver (2nd driver) is already a primary nominated driver for another mobility car.
Will they be allowed to be added as a nominated driver to my policy .

Hi KO1
I am also on the scheme and have a nominated driver but regarding the driver who is already on another car you may have to speak with Motability because they might not allow that to happen

Hi,
Thank you. I will give the mobility scheme a call tomorrow to clarify.
My understanding was that it's two different insurance polices.1 -
It is possible that there will be two different policies because you will have different vehicles but it’s always best to ask as it may be possible for the 2nd driver to use your vehicle as well as the other without having to be on the policy hope this makes sense and good luck let me know how it goes as I would like to also know this information please

Thank you for letting me know.
That puts my mind at rest a bit. As was worried I wouldn't be able to put my nominated driver on my mobility car.

Motability insurance doesn’t cover you to drive other vehicles in this way. If you’re not added to the insurance, you’re not covered.

Thank you for this information as I am now aware of how it works
