PIP Tax from one car to another
Hi i not sure how to change my partners car tax for him, he recently got a different car and he gets the tax free as he is on PIP , ive been on .GOV and don't see any provision for me to change one registration to another , can anyone help ???

I don't think they need to VIN number from the car itself. They will need to take all their documents to their local post office because the taxation class needs to be changed to "disabled" they will need to take V5C (log book) or the green new keeper slip, proof of MOT and the Certificate of Entitlement, they will need to contact PIP to ask them to send them one out.

You don't need to do that when applying for free road tax.

Thank you so much for letting me know , we have contacted PIP and they are sending a letter of entitlement for the new registration and will ask the post office to do it for us . Thankyou 😀
