Don't new plans to reform benefits for the disabled have to go through parliament before anything happens and maybe back benchers etc may be against it in a vote etc. As you say these things don't happen straight away

There is a lot that has to be done legislatively and also debated in parliament before any major changes.

I'm not an expert or anything, but from what I understand, any big new changes will require legislation and debates in Parliament etc. Big changes can't be done quickly.

All the rags and even Rachel Reeves use wording to make it sound like changes will happen immediately or be rushed through, but the truth is they can't rush anything through, especially after Ellen Clifford won her court case against them. They have to go through lengthy processes. Any changes we do see are probably a long way off.

Thanks, I've seen on news also that there's a lot of ministers uncomfortable with it as when they see the political side they ok with it but the humane side seeing the worry and struggle people are experiencing they change mind

They dont scare me anymore im scared of uc but what can i do have to go with the flow but i am not allowing them anymore control over my mind my life im disabled And what that means they can do this No the break every law in The equality Act shameful disgraceful we are all togeather as one more of us than them i am getting wiser to the mind games they play being doing for centuries on people now we should be wiser smarter let them play on thier own oh how they love to play on fear adios amigos

Can I ask this without sounding stupid, which I am I've been told. Things don't fix in my autistic brain. The cuts on our disability benefit, so we will be getting half on what we get , I get pip which is advanced and standard, my mobility worse but not saying incase I lose it completely. And esa. I am worried as everything going up. My cat insurance gone up £62 from last year even though I haven't claimed. I don't know what job I could do with my conditions. Especially the fatigue side, where I suddenly come really tired and have to sleep during the day.
