That’s extremely quick. You’ve had a paper based assessment but it doesn’t mean it’s bad news. You can ring PIP to ask what the decision was and they will tell you.

Hi @amariya, it does sound like you've had a paper assessment. Hopefully you'll hear back soon, or as Poppy says, perhaps you can give them a ring to see if they can tell you 😊
Hope you get the result you're looking for!

Hi amariya this is me claiming for the first time they said they have received forms and then got another text to say they are looking at my form and the evidence I sent with it and someone will get in touch if I need to have a assessment or not. So out of the blue, I got a call on Friday, which lasted about 41 minutes. Once it had finished, she said, "Let me sort this out for you and write the report." She said if I need to give you a call again, is that ok and i said that it is fine.
I was think should I give them a call on Monday and ask if I can have a copy of the assessment report or is that too soon.

I hope so it's just so stressful and gives me alot of anxiety thinking about it. I am already going to be going through radiotherapy soon and just started my hormone treatment which isn't pleasant at the moment so just want this sorted so i can focus on my treatment. I am getting treated for breast cancer.
Thank you for your help amariya. I am really happy you got a good outcome

Does pip and dwp have the same number sorry that's probably a silly question

PIP is part of the DWP.
The PIP department are the ones administering your claim, so that's who you need to ask for a copy of the report.

Hi Poppy123456 so I had a telephone assessment on the phone on Friday and just now I got this text.
A Health Professional is looking at your PIP claim. They will contact you with an appointment if they need to. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.
Does this mean they will also see me in person too. Even though they have rang me and spoken to me.

It will depend what assessment it was. If it was unplanned and they just rang to ask you a few questions to see if they could complete a paper based assessment then yes a full assessment may now be needed.
If it was a planned assessment this text may have been sent in error. You can contact the health assessment provider to ask them.

Hi poppy123456 the telephone assessment wasn't a planned assessment they just rang me i wasn'texpecting it. I hope I don't have to go in its just giving me anxiety. I thought it lasted 41 mins but when I looked on my call log it was 49 minutes.
