maybe I’m being dim and not understanding the whole TP being eroded overtime, but in my eyes it just tells me we are going to be a lot worse off on UC without it In the future.
But hey ho there are no premiums on UC seems to be the mood.0 -
Let’s hope not, I hate to get involved with politics as to me they are all after a similar end goal and just wear different colour suits and ties.
Reform being anywhere close to the 2 big parties like you talk of in such a small space of time in itself stinks of desperation from a confused public

Please don't imagine scenarios that might not come to pass. You will drive yourself up the wall!

What HMG wish to do, and what parliament will vote for, they are two different things.
My point is that there is literally no point in beating yourself up over what hasn't, and indeed may not come to pass.

In fairness successive preceeding Governments have all said the same.

Me too can't drive Catherine… The other alternative I suppose is to have a diet of baked beans… Or maybe what we really should be doing is have relays of begging complete with begging bowls outside Downing Street. That might cause a stir… especially if we start building fires and cooking food there too…
We need to get catch media attention + keep it there ; )

It's hard not to preempt or jump to conclusions, especially with the mixed messaging Labour keeps putting out, mainly to the Times and the Telegraph and the Sun but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if someone legitimately can't work then they can't work.
If Labour go too far there will be legal challenges, David Southgate who's affiliated with Scope insinuated that any Reforms will take upwards of a year to fully implement. Rachel Reeves thinks changes can be done at the click of a finger, I thought that changes to Welfare require legislation.

Rachel Reeves wanted to fast track the benefit reforms, but the reality is that she can't do that, as there is a long process to changing benefits. If you ask me,she's out of her depth.

A London Charity called Z2K have a template you can use to contact your MP regarding this if you wish.
