Change of circumstances ?

Hello

I have been awarded pip on both daily living and moving around. I have a compressed disk in my back causing nerve pain along with arthritis in my spine. My consultant wants to try nerve block injections.

My question is, should I let DWP know, is it classed as a change of circumstances? The consultant says if it helps it may last a few weeks to a few months. I'm worried that if I contact DWP they will think I am out of pain and take pip off me and if the injection doesn't work at all, I will have to start the whole horrible pip assessment process again.

Thanks
